Kong Man Hong

Hello, niece and nephew, I'm Lucas from Sabah and I'm an Interior designer who graduated from INTI International College Subang.

I believe that Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future

Before the arrival of mainstream religion in Borneo, Kadazan Dusun tribes held animist beliefs with customs and traditions passed down between generations. Sadly these are becoming lost to time as more people move to the city and adopt the 21st century lifestyle.

Thus, to open a Kadazan Museum will promotes Kadazan Dusun ethnic for uplifting the spirit and appreciation towards the Kadazan culture and tradition. Kadazan Dusun Museum it’s a place to let people to experience the lifestyle and the essence of Kadazan Dusun and to really get in touch and learn about the Kadazan activities and history, in order to spread the knowledge and the awareness of this ethnic.

In addition, Kadazan Museum also have a authentic Kadazan Restaurant for everyone to enjoy different types of Kadazan traditional food and to experience the Kadazan dining style.
